Doris M. Raley Baker, age 91, of Evans City passed away Monday morning, January 23, 2012, in the emergency room at UPMC Cranberry Twp.
Born in Callery, on December 17, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Edna M. Pfeifer Raley.
Doris was a member of Callery Community Church, where she was a member of the Womens Assoc. and also served as the church organist. She retired from M.S.A. in 1983, after 25 years of service in the filter department.
She was a member of the L.O.O.M. # 924, Ladies Aux., where she was College of Regent. Doris was active in the Helping Hands. She was a member of the Plus 60 of Evans City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. William Baker, on November 8, 1975, one son and two brothers.
Doris is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Donald) Krebs of Renfrew, Janice Baker and Carol Baker both of Evans City; six granchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of Doris Baker, who passed away Jaunaury 23, will be received on Wednesday, January 25, from 7 to 9 P.M. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 from Crestview Community Church, Callery, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place in the Evans City Cemetery.
