I rejoice in your mom's resurrection to new life with Christ, but I truly feel your loss. No matter how old or how young the person is, we certainly miss them. Helen and your dad came into my life as St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wallrose as your dad was our supply pastor. My mom was the church organist so we got to know them very well. We also got enjoyed bowling with them. Both your parents really touched my life and did supported me in my call to the ordained ministry. God bless you all. My prayers are with you all.

Here I am bidding my earthly farewells to the best friend I have ever known. This lovely woman was the purest example of being a Christian woman that one could ever be privileged with or blessed with in one's life. She added so much color and texture to what otherwise would have been a dull and dreary existence and I will always feel gratitude and very blessed to have had Helen in my life. Her love showered me with much laughter, joy and love for not just myself, but to my husband, children and my extended family. As I let the tears of sadness flow down my cheeks there is also a feeling of great joy knowing that she is in Heaven with her life partner who was the joy of her life. Today Pop and her are reunited and hugging each other.Helen how I love you and you placed such a positive mark on my life and through knowing you I did and will continue to be a better person. Your genuine loving spirit will be carried around in the deep crevices of my heart and mind. I praise and thank God for creating the circumstance that gave me the opportunity to have this lovely woman in my life. To David and Tom what a pair of lucky boys to have Helen as your mother you both are truly blessed. I am sorry that I can not be there to tell both of you how important she was to me and how I truly love her. You both were deeply loved by her and your loving response to her when she needed you most is so admirable. Love you guys. Always, Susan
