Ruth L. Pfeifer Dambaugh, age 90, of Arbors at St. Barnabas, Valencia, formerly of Evans City, passed away Sunday morning, January 22, 2012.
Born in Jackson Twp. on October 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Edna M. Kaufman Pfeifer.
Mrs. Dambaugh was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Evans City, where she was very active in church.
She was a member of the American Legion Aux. Post #219.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester W. Dambaugh, on October 18, 1983, three brothers, two sisters and one daughter-in-law.
She is survived by three sons, Jerold Dambaugh of Butler; Ronald (Kathy) Dambaugh of Prospect, and Richard Dambaugh of Beaver; one sister, Dorothy (Virgil) Valk of AZ; three grandchildren, Brian (Holly), Brad and John; one great-grandson, Colin.
Relatives and friends of Ruth L. Pfeifer Dambaugh, who passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 will be received on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. from the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Evans City Cemetery
