Glenn A. McKinnis, age 87, of Butler passed away Friday morning January 6, 2012, at his residence. Born in Prospect September 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Ira D. and Marie E. Davison McKinnis.
He was a member of Middlesex Presbyterian Church, where he had served as a decon. He retired from Armco June 30, 1986. He was a member of the MORA Lucheon Club.
Mr. McKinnis served as a Gunner's Mate, in the United States Navy during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine Jones McKinnis, on August 25, 2005, and two sisters. He is survived by one daughter, Donna Warren of Butler; one son, Richard (Wendy) McKinnis of Leeper; two sisters, Anna Farnelli, of Prospect and Nancy Gilland of Butler; 3 granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Glenn A. McKinnis will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 11:00 at Middlesex Presbyterian Church.
