Roy E. Knauf, age 80, of Evans City passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2025, in UPMC Passavant.
Born in Evans City, PA on December 11, 1944, he was the son of the late Harry L. Knauf and Pearl L. Schweingruber Knauf.
Roy was a farmer all of his life, and drove bus for the Seneca Valley School District.
He graduated from Evans City High in 1962, he married Audrey M. Schuler on November 21, 1970, and they had 54 years of marriage, and they had four children.
He enjoyed Allis Chalmers tractors, toy and pedal tractors, Chevy trucks, and good auctions.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa M Knauf, Audra M Knauf, two sons, Harry J. (Camille) Knauf, Roy E. (Holly Brittner) Knauf, two sisters, Mary E. Kosinski, Lois (Phil) McCombs, 7 Grandchildren, Logan, Coletta, Grady, Adam, Donald, Wyatt, Roy III.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at UPMC Passavant, and Shadyside Hospital for caring for Roy. They would also like to thank all the neighbors and friends for their caring support to the family.
The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Portersville Steam Show, 1512 Perry Hwy, Portersville PA 16051.
Friends and family of Roy E. Knauf who passed away on April 17, 2025, will be received on Monday April 21, 2025, from 2-4 P.M. and 7- 9 P.M. at The A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main Street, Evans City, additional visitation on Tuesday 11:00 A.M. to 1 P.M. with services to follow at the funeral home.
