Terumi “Terry” Morishita Ackerman age 89 of Grove City formerly of Zelienople passed away on Tuesday afternoon June 25, 2024 at her residence.
Born Yokosuka, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Kazumi and Nami Hinohara Morishita.
She was a member of the Methodist Faith.
She retired from Bellevue Suburban General Hospital in 2001 as a Nursing Assistant.
Terry enjoyed sewing. She was a member of Sakura Kai Woman’s Japanese Club.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Kiyoshi Morishita.
She is survived by one daughter, Colleen Haser, Grove City, one brother, Michiyoshi Morishita, Japan, two grandchildren, Cory Haser and Carlee Haser and their father, Harry. Best friends Janet and Jack Alker of Wexford. An adopted daughter, Judy and Bill McClain, also nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives will be received, Friday from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA 16033
