Patricia A. Stiger Eckels, age 80 of Slippery Rock passed away Sunday afternoon in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh, September 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Jerome W. and Margaret M. Burns Stiger.
She was a member of St. Faustina Parrish
She attended Bible study at her apartment building.
Pat enjoyed activities with her friends and was Secretary of the Resident Council.
She also enjoyed traveling to Benezette to see the Elk.
Pat was retired from A. J. Meyers Bus Co. after 15 years as a Bus Driver.
She was preceded in death by her companion Michael Petrakian and a great grandson, and the father of her children, Terry F. Podvasnik.
Pat is survived by one son, William (Cari) Kessler of Cranberry Twp.; three daughters, Donna (Robert) Broome of Butler, Linda Spithaler of Seven Fields, and Ruth (Sean) Dorrier of Harrisville; One sister, Peggy (Klu) Claus of Glenshaw; two brothers, Robert (Elaine) Stiger of Rochester and Jerome (Terri) Stiger of Chicora; 9 grandchildren, Samantha, D.J., Matthew, Crystal, Laurissa, Erica, Kaileigh, Tori and Ryan; 9 great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives of Patricia A. Eckels who died on December 17, 2023 will be received Wednesday December 20, 2023 at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Evans City from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A Blessing service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M.
She will be laid to rest in the Evans City Cemetery.
