Franklin G. “Butch” Lambert, age 82, of Evans City passed away on Friday morning June 9, 2023, in Good Samaritan Hospice Wexford.
Born January 8, 1941, in Callery, he was the son of the late Franklin J. and Margaret Stirk Lambert.
He was Protestant by faith.
He retired December 31, 2002, after working 40 years for the B & O Railroad (C & O and now CSX) in the Signal Department.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Viet Nam.
He enjoyed playing Golf and later Pool.
He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Snyder Lambert on September 1, 2015, and one daughter, Rachel.
Surviving is, one daughter, Margery (David) Gabrielli of Cheswick, one sister, Marjorie (Charles) Burke of Harmony, one grandson, Daniel and nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest with his wife and daughter in the Evans City cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Evans City Library or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
