Marilyn L. Brunn Carlson Gwin, age 84 of Connoquenessing Twp. passed away Tuesday morning April 11, 2023, in UPMC Passavant.
Born in Pittsburgh, February 8, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Lois Chaney Brunn.
She was a Christian.
Marilyn retired as a clerical secretary for the many State Hospitals in the area.
She enjoyed reading and watching birds. She loved her many dogs. But most of all she loved her family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Waymond A. Gwin on October 16, 2003, one son Steve Carlson.
She is survived by one daughter Debra (Dale) Neely of Zelienople, one son, Ronald Carlson of Cranberry Twp., two sisters, Jean Cooper of New Sewickley Twp. and Nancy Ringelberg of Michigan, six grandchildren, Tom (Heather), Jenn, Tim (Anastasia), Hunter, Logan and Dylan, 6 great grandchildren, Tanner, Blake, Reese, Jayden, Jaxon and a great granddaughter expected in August, one daughter-in-law, Shelley Carlson of Connoquenessing Twp.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday April 14,2023 from 5-8 P.M. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople, PA.
Private burial will be Saturday, in Evans City Cemetery.
