Nelson R. James, age, 85 of Renfrew passed away Sunday morning, October 2, 2022, at his residence, with family by his side.
Born in Renfrew, January 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Richard P. and Rupertine Muhla James.
He attended Victory Family Church, Cranberry Twp.
Nelson retired from Armco as a Rigger with 39 years of service.
He enjoyed mowing grass and counting cars while sitting on his porch. He also enjoyed golfing and traveling to Hudson, Fl. for the winter. Above all he loved his family and will forever be in our hearts.
Nelson is survived by one daughter, Linda (John III) Reichart of Butler, two sons, Leroy (Pam) James of Meridian and Larry (Laurie) James of Level Green, one brother, Walter (Kathy) James of CA, nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Turner James on July 13, 2021, one sister and three brothers.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Thursday October 6, 2022, at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeff MacKay officiating.
He will be laid to rest in Brownsdale Cemetery beside his wife.
