Dr. Lawrence James Nelson was born in Chicago on October 13th, 1945. He attended University of Michigan, where he met his wife Pamela.
He completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh, the city he resided in for the rest of his life, becoming one of the longest continuously serving doctor in Pittsburgh.
During his life, Dr. Nelson was known outside of his medical practice for accomplishments in music, botany, and wildlife preservation. He passed away April 15th, 2022 at the age of 77.
