Edgar T. Brake Jr. age 77 of Butler, formerly of Harmony passed away Thursday morning November 18, 2021 while under the care of The Grove at Harmony.
Born August 8, 1944 in Cabot, he was the son of the late Edgar Brake Sr. and Cora Neupert Brake.
Edgar worked for Robinson Industries in Harmony, with 36 years of service.
He was the head designee, for blue prints for fans.
He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.
Edgar enjoyed wood working. Together with his son they built many picnic tables. He loved gardening and working outside.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Edgar is survived by his wife Carol Ann Lewis Edgar who he married February 16, 1994, five children, Timothy of Ellwood City and Adam Brake of NE, Doug (Michele) Bigley of TN, Keith (Patty) Marath of New Castle and Mike (Lynn) Hadfield of CA. one sister, Ruth McVoy of Butler, five grandchildren, and six great granddaughters.
Relatives of Edgar T. Brake Jr. will be received Sunday November 28, 2021 at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St.,Zelienople, PA 16063 from 1-3 P.M. Funeral Services will follow with Pastor Wayne Schar officiating.
Burial will take place Monday, with full Military Honors, at 11:00 A.M. in Pinewood Memorial Park, Cranberry Twp.
The family has requested memorial donations be made to the Parkinson’s Fund, 2001 Ehrman Rd, Rose Schneider YMCA, Cranberry Twp. PA 16066
