Nathan J. Schwartz, 23 of Ellwood City formerly of Evans City, passed away Sunday morning February 27, 2011, at his residence.
Born March 24, 1987, he was the son of Paul K. Swartz and Deborah Ehlert Moss.
He was Presbyterian by faith. He was attending Pittsburgh Technical Institute. He was a member of Harmony-Evans City V.F.W. Post #499.
As an Army reservist he was called to active duty, and spent ten months in Iraq. In Iraq he was a Electronic Tech. for Helicopters.
Nathan Enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and spending time at the beach. He also was a proud and caring Uncle.
He is survived by his mother; Deborah and Wayne Moss of Virginia Beach, VA, his father; and friend Paul Schwartz and Roxanne Slusher ofEvans City, maternal Grandmother; Sherry McCormick, NC, fraternal Grandmother; Daryoal Ondick, Las Vegas, NV, two sisters; Angela (Chad) Gregory of Callery, and Paula Schwartz of Ellwood City, two brothers; David Bowman and Joseph Bowman Virginia Beach, VA, two nieces and one nephew.
Relatives and friends of Nathan J. Schwartz, who died Sunday, February 27, 2011, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home Inc., 328 West Main Street, Evans City PA 16033, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rosalyn Kummer officiating.
