Barbara F. Staus Mercurio, 95 of Harmony, formerly of Scottdale, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011.
She was born on April 2, 1915, in Millvale and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pfeiffer Staus.
Mrs. Mercurio was of the Catholic faith.
She retired from Woolworth in Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic Mercurio, four sisters, and a brother.
Barbara is survived by a son; George and his wife Ardeth Herbel of Zelienople, a sister; Mrs. Clara Maxwell of Pittsburgh, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of Barbara F. Mercurio who passed away on January 21, 2011, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Spring Street, Zelienople, PA 16063, from 9:00-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 West Beaver Road, Zelienople, PA 16063.
The burial will be in St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery in East Huntington Township.
