Edwin J. Pearce, 92, of Zelienople, passed away Monday morning December 17, 2018 in Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born January 3, 1926 in Glenfield, he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret Wilson Pearce.
Ed was a member of Park Presbyterian Church, Zelienople where he served as an Elder.
He served his country during WWII in the United States Army.
Ed was a member of American Legion Post # 474, Zelienople.
Ed was a truck driver having worked for the Jewel Tea Co. and later Sauers Trucking and Crea Excavating.
He was a member of the Butler Squares.
Ed was preceded in death by his first wife Marjorie C. Crea Pearce on April 20, 1998, one brother, one sister and one step granddaughter.
Ed is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. Lydick Hankey-Pearce: two daughters, Lois (Gary) Wiley of Zelienople and Vickie (Scott) Mason of MD, two sons, Richard (Joyce) Pearce of Cranberry Twp. and Bryan (Billiejo) Pearce of MD. one step daughter, Cathy (Allan) Runninger of Franklin and one step son, Robert (Sandra) Hankey Jr. of AZ. seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several step grandchildren,step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
Private services will held and burial in Pinewood Memorial Park, Cranberry Twp.
