Robert E. Snyder

Died: 7/6/2016

Robert E. Snyder, age 81 of Cranberry Twp. passed away Wednesday morning July 6, 2016 in the Veteran Hospital’s Hospice Unit, Butler.

Born in Butler, October 1, 1934, he was the son of the late Walter Edgar and Ruth Leona Byers Snyder.

He was of the Presbyterian Faith.

Bob retired from Supervalue with 48 years in the food service business.

He served his country during peacetime in the United States Army.

He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Bowling, golfing and Gardening.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Barrickman Snyder who he married June 2, 1962; one daughter, Belinda Ann (Bryan) Stillman of Erie; one son, Ronald Allan (Joanna) Snyder of Hawthorn; three brothers, Thomas C. (Rose), Carl H. (Beverly) and Raymond R. (Patty) Snyder, All of Butler; two grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

Friends and relatives of Robert E. Snyder, who died July 6, 2016 will be received on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the A.Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA. Funeral Services will be at on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pinewood Memorial Park, Cranberry Twp. with full Military Honors.
