Janet E. Grounds McMaster

Died: 1/2/2016

Janet E. Grounds McMaster, age 73 of Butler passed away Saturday evening January 2, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, December 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elsie Grounds.

Janet was of the Lutheran Faith.

She had spent her early childhood traveling with her parents in a carnival.

Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished the time spent with them with her family.

She loved her cats and dog and was a great fan of Elvis Presley. She also enjoyed dancing.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Reed Grounds and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert G. McMaster Jr. who she married June 11, 1999; five sons, William (Lindsay Bonasso) Bridgeman of Pittsburgh, Richard Bridgeman of East Brady, Robert McMaster III of Butler, Guy (Cathy) McMaster of Zelienople, Barry (Amanda) McMaster of TN; three daughters, Diane (Lou) Ziccarelli of Gibsonia, Lisa ( Angie Panei) Wenzel of Cranberry Twp. and Beth (Mark) Britton of Hershey; two brothers, Robert Grounds of CA. and Jack Grounds of FL.; one sister, Barbara Zyski of Chicora; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 17, 2016, from 1 to 2, with service to follow at 2 p.m. at the Kinsey Volz Funeral Home 328 West Main St, Evans City, PA 16033

Memorial donations may be made to Butler Co. Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.
