Patricia L. Trautman Roman, age 77 of Harmony passed away November 3, 2015 in the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler after a short illness.
Born in Butler December 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Rachael Sarver Trautman.
Pat was a life member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing.
She graduated from the Community College of Allegheny Co in 1987 as a registered nurse. She worked for several different agencies of Visiting Nurses.
Patty loved to decorate her home for all occasions. She was a fan of the Pirates and Steelers. She also enjoyed sewing, baking and going to the Casino.
Patty was very loving with her family and friends and was considered by many as the Best Nurse in the world with her sweetness, compassion and kindness for all her patients and gave the best care when you were ill.
She is survived by her loving husband, George R. Roman who she married June 6, 1958; her sons who she loved dearly, Gregory (Susan) Roman, Harmony and Matthew Roman, Evans City; four brothers, Larry (Diana) Trautman, Salley, SC, Richard (Barbara) Trautman, Summerville, SC, David Trautman, Evans City, and Jeffrey (Margaret) Trautman, Portersville; one sister, Dawn(Russell) Plaisted, Connoquenessing; and a granddaughter, Katielynn Roman.
Friends of Patricia A. Trautman Roman who died November 3, 2015 will be received Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, PA 16033. Services will be held on Friday November 6, 2015 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Connoquenessing at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
