John F. Zajacs, 84 of Evans City, passed away Friday Morning October 23, 2015 in Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.
Born in Ellwood City, July 1, 1931, he was the son of the late John and Mary Soltez Zajacs.
He retired in 2001 as machinist from ll-Vl Inc. in Saxonburg.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Butler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War on the USS Albany.
John was a member of the AARP.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna R. Critchlow Zajacs who he married April 6, 1957 and passed away October 9, 2015 and two sisters.
He is survived by five sons, Michael (Jean), Mark (Lisa), and Brett (Tina) Zajacs all of Evans City, Maurice (Patti) Zajacs, Saxonburg and Matthew (Dawn) Zajacs, Cranberry Twp.; three sisters, Mary Ann Stickle of Washington, Margaret (David) Eberle and Elizabeth Crans both of Harmony; one brother, Stephen G. (Maureen) Zajacs of Coraopolis; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
