Leonard S. Thomas Sr. , age 71, of Butler formerly of Evans City passed away Sunday morning Nov. 23, 2014 at the home of his son after an illness.
Born March 11, 1943 in Johnstown he was the son of the late Oscar L. and Mary Matilda Hughes Thomas.
Leorard worked for Tesone Trucking, Gibsonia as a truck driver for over 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alverda D. Sill Thomas on Oct. 18, 2009.
He is survived by one son, Leonard (Christina) Thomas of Butler; two daughters, Lisa Marie (Bruce) McKinnis of Maryland and Elizabeth (David) Tirk of Cabot; two brothers, Lawrence Thomas of Emlenton and Robert Thomas of Butler; one sister, Levina Tuberville of NJ; also seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
