Dr. Paulette A. LaDoux, age 64, of Zelienople, passed away Wednesday moring April 9, 2014, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Sept. 15, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Rosalind Roman LaDoux Kaufman.
She was of the Catholic Faith.
Paulette had received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and her Ph D. from St. Johns University.
She retired from Slippery Rock University as an Associate Professor of Counseling and Educational Psychology, where she was very devoted to her students.
Paulette was an animal advocate..
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newsman Frank S. Tomasello, who had worked for Radio, TV and newspapers in Pittsburgh. They married May 28, 1994, and he died June 27, 1997. Also one sister, Linda Kelly preceded her in death.
She is survived by her many friends; one brother, Mark LaDoux of Denville, NJ and a nephew, Joseph Fitzpatrick LaDoux.
A graveside service was held on Friday and burial in Christ the Redeemer Cemetery, West View.
