T. Dale Caldwell, age 72, of Callery passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Thursday morning Jan. 16, 2014, in UPMC Passavent.
Born Sept. 23, 1941, in Russellton, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth Stepp Caldwell.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He had worked for Warrendale Plating in Mars. He then began working for Paul's Chrome in Evans City as a buffer, retiring there with 30 years of service.
Dale enjoyed hunting and camping and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Caldwell Jr.., 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and his mother-in-law, and a nephew.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy "Dotty" Luna Caldwell; three daughters, Donna (Milton) of Callery, Christina (Tim) Coroian of West Deer, and Susan Wills and her partner Karen of Allison Park; one sister, Tilda Mahoney of Mars; one brother, Floyd Caldwell of Evans City; five grandchildren, Nickki, Thomas, Daniel, Ashley, and Stephanie; 2 great grandchildren, Victoria and Abigail; also nieces and nephews.
The family of T. Dale Caldwell who died Thursday Jan. 16, 2014, will welcome friends on Sat. Jan. 18, 2014, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Kinsey-Volz F.H. 328 W Main St. Evans City PA 16033. Services will follow at 8 P.M.
