E. Louise Critchlow Benoit, age 95, formerly of Evans City passed away peacefully Friday Nov. 29, 2013, at Sunnyveiw Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Butler
Born July 4, 1918, in Reibold, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Erla Hughes Critchlow.
Louise was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, Butler.
She had retired from Wayne Scheidemantle's Bus Co. as a bus driver.
Louise's greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Benoit, whom she married May 1, 1939, and died on Oct. 6, 2002; two brothers, 6 sisters and a grandson.
Survived by one daughters, Ann (Edward) Flick of Butler; three sons, Harry "Bud" (Mary Lou) Benoit of NC, Joseph (Cindy) Benoit of Evans City, and Jay Benoit of Harmony; one sister, Dora Nicklas of Evans City; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Morgan, Maria Gill, Lee Flick, Mathew Benoit, Jill Benoit-Mink, Brad Benoit, Brent Benoit, Sara Nasky, ; ten great grandchildren, Brandon, William and Louise Flick, Hunter, Levi, Hannah, and Eva Morgan, Gracie Gill, Keeley and Cole Nasky.
Private Family visitation and burial was held on Monday, Dec. 2 2013, in the Brownsdale Cemetery
