Ruth H. Nickle Palm, 92, a resident of Evergreen Nursing Center formerly of Evans City, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 6, 2013, in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 3, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Baker Nickle.
She was a member of Oak Grove Lutheran Church, New Sewickley Twp.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband William Palm, one sister and one brother.
She is survived by one son, Arthur "Art" Palm, of Evans City; two sisters, Mildred "Midge" McCormick of Zelienople and Virginia "Jean" Arenth of Penn Hills; one brother, Robert (Ruth) Nickle of Renfrew; two granchildren, Tiffany and Jacob.
The family of Ruth H. Nickle Palm, who died Oct. 6, 2013, will receive friends on Wed. Oct. 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home, 328 West Main St., Evans City, PA 16033. Services will be held on Thurs. at 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home.
