Grace I. Dindinger Minehart, age 102, formerly of Callery, passed away June 25, 2013, in Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.
Born April 5, 1911, in Middle Lancaster, she was the daughter of David C. and Clara E. Uhl Dindinger.
Grace was a member of Crestview Community Church, Callery, where she had been very active in the preparation of church dinners. She was known for her delicious pies.
She loved playing cards and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, who enjoyed every minute spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Minehart, who passed away June 8, 1983; one daughter, three sons, four sisters, three brothers, two grandsons, and one great grandson.
Grace is survived by her two daughters, Beverly (John) Hutchison of Cranberry Twp. and Marian (Gary) Magill of Evans City, her two sons, Russel (Barbara) Minehart of Jackson NC, and Kenneth (Geri) Minehart of Evans City; 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
The family of Grace will welcome friends and family on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Kinsey-Volz F.H. Inc. 328 West Main St. Evans City, PA 16033. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 29, at 11:00 A.M. from the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Goossen and Rosalyn Kummer officiating. Burial will take place in the Evans City Cemetery.
