Margaret L. "Lou" Baird Altman, age 76, of Evans City, passed away Sunday April 28, 2013, at UPMC Cranberry.
Born April 26, 1937, in Homewood, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Buchannan Baird.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
She had worked for Eckerd Drug Store.
Lou was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Altman Sr. on January 9, 2010, 1 brother, and a sister.
She is survived by on son, David W. (Heidi) Altman of Zelienople; 3 sisters, Debra (Mike) LaMagdeleine, of Alaska, Josie (Joe) Tipping of Alantic, PA, Mary Jo (Vito) Natali of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Miles (Karen) Baird of NC, Hank (Laura) Baird of VA, Jack (Thelma) Baird of Allison Park; also 2 grandchildren, Brittany and Blake Altman.
The family of Lou who passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013, will welcome friends and relatives at the Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home, 114 West Spring Street, Zelienople, PA 16063, on Friday May 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30, when services will follow, with the Rev R. Wayne Schar of Springdale United Methodist Church officiating, burial will take place in the Evans City Cemetery.
