Norma M. "Snooks" Double Nickle, age 87, of Harmony, passed away Friday evening April 5, 2013, at Chicora Medical Center.
Born April 16, 1925, in Renfrew she was the daughter of the late Troy and Vera Henry Double.
Norma attended St. Johns Reformed Church, Meridian.
She had worked as a sales clerk at the Ben Franklin Store in Zelienople for 20 years. She also was the secretary for her husband's Trucking Co. in Harmony. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer W. "Fritz" Nickle, December 31, 1988, her son, Fred and daughter-in-law Sheila Nickle, two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita Getsay of Butler; two sisters, Mona Ford and Nancy Lumley; two brothers, Dean Double and Reid Double; 6 grandchildren, Debra Deemer and Fritz Nickle of Harmony, Teri Getsay and Dayna Spithaler of Butler, Shane Getsay of Evans City, and Devin Nickle of Beaver Falls; 6 great grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Stephanie, Destiney, Clint, Brittnie, and Travis; 2 great great grandsons, Karter and Kyler.
Friends of Norma who passed away Friday April 5, will be recived at the Kinsey-Volz F.H. 114 West Spring Street, Zeli PA 16033, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday April 8, 2013, Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday from the Funeral Home, with Rev. Wilfred Goetz officiating.
