Mrs. Thompson was the first Sunday School teacher I can remember. Her humble and patient spirit, despite some rowdy 8 year old boys, was a beautiful picture of Christ's love for children. It was hard to see her in recent years, unable to remember and respond to her surroundings as she used to, but am rejoicing with you all in knowing that she is fully healed and enjoying the company of all the family and friends that went before her. Prayers for all the family and hopefully you can enjoy the time together this weekend. We are travelling to Florida to see my daughter and her husband this weekend so cannot make the funeral but wish we could be there.
