Date: 10/28/2016 | Mrs. Toy was a wonderful friend to our family. In 2002, although we had never met, she found out that my little boy, then five years old, had the same birthday as her mother, who had passed away. That year she brought him a birthday card and gift, a practice she continued for fifteen years. She never missed remembering his birthday, including this year--his 19th birthday--just days before her death. We will miss her sweet presence in our town and in our lives. I am so thankful that we will meet her again in Heaven. |
