He helped save the lives of countless people and was strong both physically and mentally, having never lost his cool. He will be deeply missed by many. Date: 12/17/2013 | I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Ray other than he was the Angel who came to my husband, sons and I, a year and a half ago when my husband had a heart attack at home. Doug was only 47 years old and a Harmony firefighter. Ray worked feverishly, along with my son and others to try and bring him back to us. Ray can now go rest high on that mountain with Doug. He played indoor soccer with my husband too. We will miss him around our community, but especially his friendship. |

Date: 12/15/2013 | My brother wrestled with Ray in high school, and I grew to know him better while we worked together at Monte Cello's in Zelienople. He was truly such a wonderful good natured person. I am so sad to see him leave this world, but I am so glad to have known him. Ray also drove the ambulance that took my father to the hospital after having a stroke, and my family is forever grateful for his speedy delivery (it's a bit of a joke in my family about how fast he was driving!).
