Wilma Jean Barkey, age 88 of Georgia formerly of Evans City passed away Sunday April 20, 2025.
Born November 11, 1936, Wilma was the last surviving daughter of the late Enos E. and Leona B. Goubeaud Barkey.
She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene of Zelienople.
Wilma worked as a Nurse’s aide at St. Johns Specialty Care Center, Mars for 35 years retiring in 2002.
Wilma enjoyed going to the beach and gathering unique sea shells.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Garvin, Sharon Winterhalter and Ruthene Pinkney.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Wilma will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the Evans City Cemetery.
She will be laid to rest with her family.
